And just like that, 24 days of cookies becomes 23 days of cookies. It’s slightly disappointing because I wasn’t busy yesterday, I just had one of those beautiful lazy days where I blew off my to do list and drank tea all day, playing cards with friends and ending it all with community Christmas carols and It’s a Wonderful Life.
I regret nothing. Continue reading
Time for something completely different. Yes, that’s right, it’s time for the annual quick-review-of-books-I-have-finally-had-time-to-read-now-that-I-moved-into-a-stable-house-and-have-free-time!
Oh, that’s not a thing? Also the name is too long? Party poopers. Ah, well, we’re doing it anyway. Books are great gifts. You should totally get a book for someone this Christmas. Give the gift of another world. Continue reading
The feast day of St Nicholas, the man behind the story of Santa Claus, is the 6th of December (tomorrow) but in Holland, where my mum’s family is from, they celebrate Christmas on the 5th. Hey! So today on YouTube is the Project for Awesome. The Project for Awesome began in 2007 when the vlogbrothers decided to take over YouTube so that for one day, instead of it being about cats and memes and random music videos and people making fools of themselves in front of their cameras alone in their bedrooms, it was all about charity.
I don’t like Christmas cake.
Merry Christmas! It’s December! This is important for a few, very important reasons. Very Important.
1. Christmas is coming up. This month is Christmas month! Trees, carols, baubles and
2. Christmas cookie time! so super excited. These gingerbread men are just the beginning.
